Bernard Ndong’ is a renowned Kenyan journalist and sports news anchor at Citizen TV.
He was born on 4th October 1984 in Nairobi County and spent is early childhood there.

Bernard grew up in Nairobi with a single mother who was a staunch Christian. They attended the catholic church. His father, Raymond Oloo Ndong was not there for them while they were growing up but he it was a shock to him when he succumbed to cancer on January 2020.
Raymond served as an assistant Trade minister during the Moi regime. Berbnard Ndong attributes his sense of humor to his late dad.
Bernard went to St. Nicholas Nairobi Primary School in Nairobi for his primary education. He then joined Lenana School for his secondary education. While here, Ndong was a very active member in sports.
He went to Daystar University for an undergraduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism. Bernard also has a Master’s degree from Hekima College and another diploma in French from Alliance Francaise.
Ndong’ started as an intern at KBC in 2007. While here, Ndong tried auditioning as a reporter for several media stations including NTV unsuccessfully. He decided to try an audition at KTN’s The Presenter but failed to make it.
The audition was headed by Janet Mbugua and some other two presenters who told him that he should try something else. An opportunity presented itself when Royal Media Services had a sales job therefore he was posted at Mulembe FM.
He worked there for five months before giving the final shot at presenting. He tried for a job at Citizen TV and was called by Mike Okinyi while writing his resignation. Bernard Ndong is one of the best presenters and has covered important events like the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Apart from presenting, he is also a good drummer and artist.
Bernard Ndong Love Life
He is a ladies’ favorite. This was proven when a Muslim girl publicly confessed her undying love for him and was willing to do anything to win him over. In a past interview, he revealed that he was dating although the lucky girl is not known.
Being one of the best sports presenters, he is estimated to be earning about KES 350,000.
