Betty Mutei Kyalo is a Kenyan news anchor, corporate MC and brand influencer.
Age
She was born on 11th March 1989 in Kajiado County. She was, however, raised in Nairobi County.
Family
Betty is the 2nd born in a family of four children. Raised by a single mum after their parents divorced when she was very young. She has an identical twin sister known as Mercy Kyalo.
Education
Betty Kyalo attended Olerai Primary School but later on went to Uhuru Gardens Primary school. She studied in Kangundo High school for her secondary education after which she joined Daystar University to study communication.
Marriage
She married Denis Okari, a fellow journalist and the two have one daughter together called Ivanna. They were married on October 2015 in a luxurious wedding that was followed by a fancy honeymoon to Mauritius. This happiness did not last for long as the two divorced six months after the wedding. There were claims of cheating and rumors had it that Betty had affairs with Prezzo, a musician and Governor Ali Hassan Joho. These claims were not confirmed but Betty admitted to dating the governor after the divorce.
Career
Betty Kyalo started her career in KTN as an intern and later became one of the most loved news anchors in Kenya owing to her beauty and eloquence. Her show which was on every Friday, Friday Briefing, featured lots of celebrity interviews and was among the best shows. She worked at K24 before leaving to concentrate on her own business.
