The Cabinet Secretary education, Proffesor George Magoha has today spoken out and revealed the issue on school reopening. On a press release that has been circulated by the media today, he said that final year students are going to report on 5th October 2020.
All universities, Teachers Training colleges, and TVETS are to reopen on the date announced. This has been reported by top media houses including the standard and it has been confirmed as true and that other years will commence their studies soon.
This is indeed good news to the many students who have been trending the school reopening hashtag on twitter demanding that schools be reopening. It is also a great relief to parents who finally have hope that the school will be reopened.
The universities or institutions will decide on the date the other students are to report to schools. more updates are expected from the government and ministry of education which will give more guidelines on how other levels of education will proceed.
