Eight Die in Kilimani After Site Collapses

An unfortunate incident which occurred in Kilimani today on Thursday 26 August left 8 people dead. Seven died on site after a lifting machine collapsed in Kilimani, Nairobi area. The construction site which is owned by a Chinese citizen has been closed down as evacuation is currently undergoing.

The building which is located opposite the department of defense Headquarters collapsswd earlier today leaving a lot of people injured. Death toll rose to eight and more people are expected to succumb to the injuries.

An unconfirmed number of people have been rushed to the hospital and the area security has been tightened. Videos which are circulating on social media show many ambulances leaving the area with a lot of fatalities.

Kilimani police boss Andrew Muturi is continuing to update people on the death toll which as he said is expected to spike.
