How To Install Windows 10 On A Computer

I will start by listing the things you need to have for you to start the process of installing Windows 10 on your personal computer. The first thing you need to have either a bootable flash disk or DVD. You will also need a file having the windows that you will have to transfer into your disk. For my case I will illustrate how to use a flash disk.

How to Install Windows 10

The first process is to insert the flash disk in the computer having the windows file. Second step is to make the flash bootable by using either Rufus or power ISO. The best software to use is the Rufus as it shows you the steps to make the disk bootable directly by following series of steps.

After making the flash disk bootable now you transfer the file into your flash disk and after it has finished copying you eject the flash disk.

Now insert the flash disk in the computer you want to install the windows and restart the computer. When the computer restarts and the manufacturers logo shows itself on the screen, you will have to press one of the function keys for example if the computer is of type dell then you will have to press f12.

After pressing f12, you will have to choose the device from which you want to boot, for my case you will choose USB. After you have chosen USB, the next step is to choose your preffered language, for our case you choose English. When you have chosen the language you will be directed to the next step where you will have to partition your hard disk. In most cases you will have to partition your hard disk into two that is local disk C and local disk D.

After partitioning you will press to go into the next step where you will have to extract the files. Extracting the files will be done automatically by the computer. You will need to leave without pressing any key as it will disturb it from extracting the files and it may end up not installing the windows.

Restarting

After the computer has finished installing the windows, it will restart automatically.  You will then have to create user accounts together with their passwords.

Use password that cannot be easily guessed by anybody or a robot. Once your computer has powered on it’ s ready for use. You can continue installing other application softwares including Microsoft office and exetra. Never allow your computer to automatically update windows instead you will have to turn off automatic updates of windows.
