Supermodel Naomi Campbell who doubles up as Magical Kenya Tourism ambassador is a force to reckon with in everything she does. The British supermodel has been in Kenya for over 20 years. She first visited Malindi in the early 90s and she refers to it as home, her retreat and calming place. Naomi has now come out to give a tour of her multimillion luxury villa in Malindi which has left many shocked.
Naomi Campbell gave the tour to Architectural Digest as their May Cover story. In the interview, she expressed how the house is the perfect gateaway from the busy New York city.

The villa which is an indoor-outdoor overlooks the Indian Ocean. It also has a saltwater pool which extends from the center of her living room. Her living room is made up of vaulted ceilings and voile – curtained pergolas which gives it a resort feel. It also makes it a perfect place for hanging out with family and friends.
The most favorite part of her house is the makuti thatched roof which is made of dried coconut palms. The roof is a common design in East African homes. In the interview she revealed that the house has been held up with the design for over 12 years but is still looking great.
Most of her furniture is custom by international wood carpenters. Her home décor is also a collection of things she has gathered from all over Africa.
Speaking on her new appointment as the Tourism ambassador, Naomi revealed that she plans on working on her role for the good of Kenya and Africa as a whole.
