Governor Ali Hassan Joho is definitely one of the richest politicians in Kenya. He is not shy to flaunt his wealth with no apologies. His involvement in politics has made him a huge amount of wealth.

His family is alleged to have been involved in narcotic trade in Mombasa area although this has no evidence. He owns a company by the name M-Tech Kenya Limited that carries out transportation in East African terminals.
