KCSE Results To Be Released How To Check and Download KCSE 2021 Results

The 2021 KCSE candidates can finally heave a sigh of relief following the announcement by the Ministry of Education to release the results today May 10th. The last paper for the 2020 KCSE was done on 21^st April 2021. The release of the results comes amid strikes by the examiners who were marking the papers. In a previous statement, Professor Magoha was supposed to release the results on last week but that may be impossible since most students will be going back to school on that day. The results are more likely to be released mid next week. Earlier, reports had indicated that the results were to be released on Friday, something that has since been proven untrue.

How to Check Results For KCSE 2020/2021

To check your KNEC KCSE results, send an SMS code with your index number to 200076. You can also check through the KNEC website. The results will be available for the candidates to view after the Cabinet Secretary for Education Professor George Magoha directs so.

How to Download The 2021 KCSE Results For The Whole School

KCSE results can be downloaded from the KNEC portal. In order to do that, one needs;

The KNEC portal credentials for the whole school

A laptop, mobile phone or desktop with access to data or Wi-Fi

Storage space for downloading the marks

Downloading KCSE Results For The School

To download the results use the link: https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke

After logging into the portal, enter the school username and password used during the KCSE 2020-2021 registration

After logging in, enter the index number of the first candidate in full in the box FROM INDEX and the index number of last candidate in the box TO INDEX.

The results slip will load. When all the slips are loaded, click on the menu named to export

Select the format you’d like to export in and the slip will be downloaded to your device

You can then print the slip

However, it is important to note that this is usually available hours after the release. If you want the results faster, you’ll have to send the individual index numbers one by one to the code provided.

For the official result slip, candidates are required to visit their official examination centers.
