Ozil’s reputation went from hero to zero when it was discovered that he had an affair with ex-Bayern Munich defender Christian Lell’s girlfriend Melanie Rickinger.

Lell alleged that the Gunners man was involved with Melanie Rickinger while he was still in a relationship with her but Mesut Ozil refused to comment on the allegations.
