Nakuru Doctor Suspected to have murdered his two Children

Nakuru based Doctor James Muriithi Gakara an obstetrician at Optimum hospital suspected to have murdered his two children.

The Doctor is believed to have injected his two children with a killer substance that killed them on the spot. He’s also believed to have attempted to take his own life.

At the crime scene sharp kitchen knife, used syringe and assorted drugs were recovered an indication that the two were injected with a killer substance.

In an incident that shocked Milimani apartment, the two kids aged three and five were found by detectives lying lifeless on their bed, with foam coming out of their mouths.

The Nakuru Doctor was also found lying on his bed though alive, he was rushed to Nakuru level 5 hospital where he was admitted and he is currently in stable condition.

Earlier before the bodies were discovered, The doctor locked himself with the two children which the neighbours found unusual. They alerted the detectives who rushed to the apartment and forced their way inside since the door had been locked.

The motive for the murder of the two is not yet known. The Directorate of criminal investigation await for the questioning of the suspects as he gets better.
