Aged 7, he joined Kibos School for the Blind in Kisumu, a boarding school. Later on, he joined Salvation Army High School for the blind in Thika in 1981 and completed in 1986. Kigame acquired an honours degree in Education from Kenyatta University. This is where he met his long-term late partner Mary and began their romance.

Marriage

He was married to the late Mary who he met in Kenyatta University. Unfortunately, she passed away in a road accident. Later on, he remarried to a lady by the name Julie Kigame. He reveals that it was hard for him to find love after the death of his wife.

Reuben Kigame Career

He started teaching as his opening career but quit in 1994 to start the ministry work. The radio presenter is the founder of Fish FM. This station aims at spreading the gospel to people. In addition, he has founded The Word Of Truth Ministies that is helping believers all over the nation. He is an award winning artist well respected within the industry. Reuben has also made quite the impact in political activism in Africa. He has worked in various media stations.

Presidential Bid

He has now revealed that he is running for presidency. Interviewed by Citizen TV yesterday, he spoke of his ambition for the country.
