Career
Abdalla started his career in 2006 at Radio Salaam. It was while here that Rashid met his gorgeous wife Lulu Hassan. He then later moved to QTV where they decided to make him the face of the station. This, however, did not go well and the company made a lot of losses leading to many of the presenters losing their jobs.
The station had to close down some of its stations like Nation FM and Rwanda FM due to the huge loss. He was lucky as he secured a job at NTV and sometimes did interviews for the popular show The Trend when Larry Madowo was not around.
Finally, he went to Citizen TV where he hosts with his wife in the night show news. The two were paired after Kanze Dena exited the station to take up a job at Statehouse Kenya. He also hosts Sema Na Citizen with many other reporters on Citizen.
Salary
Rashid Abdalla earns an estimated amount of Ksh. 250,000 a month. This is relatively less compared to what other presenters earn.
Wife and Children
Rashid exchanged vows with his co-anchor Lulu Hassan in a private wedding ceremony. Their chemistry both on and off air is undeniable. In a past interview, Rashid revealed that he fell in love with Lulu the moment he heard her voice. The two got engaged just two weeks after meeting each other. He had no dowry so he offered a Quran and mat as he earned very little.
Rashid Abdalla and Lulu Hassan are blessed with three children, two boys and a girl. The family is very adorable and often posts photos in matching outfits on social media. They also share beautiful words and moments on social media.
