The General Elections always see a surge in activities including insecurity and illegal things. Many people during this period are murdered regarding political matters. Despite the declining insecurity during the last general elections, an MCA aspirant has been murdered because of his political involvement. The late politician was brutally murdered by people who attacked him. He was a Bombaba Borabu MCA in Kisii County and was pronounced dead a few hours after he was taken to hospital.
The late Thomas Ontweka Shared a message on Facebook a few minutes before he died. He revealed and I quote;
“I was attacked this morning by some unknown people who were after my life. Even in the hospital bed my spirit of serving my people is unhurt.”
After trying to fight for his life for four hours, he succumbed to his injuries. This has left a lot of people devastated with many sending condolences to his family. Thomas Ontweka was a man of the people greatly celebrated by his people.
