Sam Gituku is a Kenyan based journalist who currently works at Citizen TV. The renowned journalist mostly does news presentation and production in politics, human interest and crime activities.

Sam was born on 14th August 1989. He turned 31 years old in August 2020.
Family
Sam Gituku’s father is called Mr. Ngari Gituku. Mr. Ngari served as the late president Mwai Kibaki’s private secretary for many years. Sam’s mother is called Jacinta and based on his Facebook posts, he also has a brother called Joe.
Education
The presenter has an accounting diploma from Excel Institute of Professionals where he graduated from in 2008. Sam also has a BSc in Information Science from Moi University. In 2015, Sam graduated with a Masters degree in Communication Studies from the prestigious University of Nairobi.
Career
Gituku joined the Citizen Tv team in November 2014 and has worked there to date. He first captured the hearts of Kenyans after reporting on the Garissa University attack. Being so young and talented saw him receive an award from the media council of Kenya. His presenting skills and great English made him warm his way into many and has since been a favorite to frequent Citizen TV fans.
Sam Gituku Wife
Sam Gituku exchanged vows with his colleague Ivy Waitherero in an exclusive wedding attended by close family members and big media personalities. Because he is a very private person, few knew of the wedding or even engagement.
The fancy wedding took place at The Deliverance Church in Karen on May 2019 and the reception at Nairobi Academy. Ivy is a director and journalist at Citizen TV and the wedding saw some of the big media personalities in attendance.
