1.Kipchoge Keino

Keino is a retired field and track athlete. He is a two-time Olympic gold medalist who inspired many athletes to join the sport.

He even has a stadium in Eldoret named after him, Kipchoge Keino stadium. The athlete was adversely mentioned in the misappropriation of over ksh 55 million of taxpayers money that was meant to cater for athletes at the 2016 Rio Games. The charges were later dropped by police.

4.Catherine Ndereba

Ndereba is a marathon runner who has won the marathon at the World Championships in Athletics twice. She broke the women’s marathon world record in 2001 at 2:18:47 at the Chicago marathon. The marathon runner’s net worth is estimated between 1-5 million dollars.

5.Vivian Cheruiyot

Vivian holds the world record in 5,000 meters in Olympics a record she put in 2016.Her net worth is $1.3 million.
