George Magoha together with other Education Ministry officials gathered to release the KCPE results 2021. He said the following key points in his speech;
*He gave CBC updates stating that it has been successfully implemented up to grade 5.
*Thanked HE President Uhuru Kenyatta for making him the longest running Education CS during his regime
*Insisted there were zero cases of cheating despite exam leaking rumors. Those who attempted were arrested and will be charged accordingly.
*There will be 9000 bursary beneficiaries for this year exam candidates. He will ensure that it is given to poor students who deserve it.
*Male Students Performed better than females in STEM subjects
*There was an increase in number of students. There were fourteen students in the top 10.
*Top student is Bruce.
*The top student scored 428 marks.
*The age gap was between 13-14 years old.
*Students that were overage were in Turkana, Kilifi, Garissa and Mandera.
*Students with over 400 marks increased to 11,000
