St Pauls Gekano Boys in Nyamira County has recorded an impressive result in the just released 2022 KCSE results. This comes after the Cabinet Secretary, Ezekiel Machogu, released the results today on Friday, 20th 2023. The extra county school which is sponsored by a religious institution has managed to take all the students who sat for the exam to University.
174 candidates sat for their KCSE exam in the institution and all 174 candidates have managed to proceed to University. The first candidate had a mean grade of A- and out of the entire class only two had a mean grade of C+. The school obtained a mean grade of 9.0
The Principal Gekano boys, Albert Ombiro expressed his happiness with the result and attributes it to hard work by the teachers and students.
Despite the fact that the ministry of education no longer ranks schools, data collected by stakeholders places the school as one of the best in the county so far.
