Rachel Nduta was first seen in public back in 2018 during Gala music festival in Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County.

Many people were impressed by Nduta as her job is very tough and has for long been dominated by males. she is currenyly working as Uhuru Kenyatta bodyguard.

An aide-de-camp (ADC) is a personal assistant or secretary to a person of high rank. Usually a senior military, police or government officer, or to a member of a royal family or a head of state.

An aide-de-camp may participate at ceremonial functions, and the first aide-de-camp is typically the foremost personal aide of the President.

The work of an ADC includes opening and closing car door for the president, escorting the president to his car, keeping the diary of the president. The work also involves carrying personal items of the president and standing attention when the president is talking.

Lekolol who is Rachel Nduta’s senior is the first ADC from the Kenya Navy.  Others have been mostly from the Kenya Army.

Lekolol replaced Colonel Victor Mburu in 2017 and will serve until 2022 when President Uhuru Kenyatta retires.
