Julie Gathoni Samira Gichuru is among the few celebrities who have maintained their glow and never seem to age even after so many years. The beautiful presenter graced our television screens for so long and became one of the most admired TV presenters.
Julie Gichuru Early Life
The mother of four did not live a difficult childhood life as many of the celebrities narrate their stories. She had quite the fairly good life and was born of a Kikuyu mother and Kashmiri father. Born on 7th January 1974, she was raised in Dagoretti in Nairobi.
she studied in several schools while she was young as she had to relocate to Bangladesh. this is because her father was in the military. After her return to Kenya, she managed to convince her parents to change her into the GCE system of education.
Julie went to USIU for only two semesters before moving to Warwick University in the UK for a one-year program. She also studied in Cardiff Business School and also has an MBA in law from form Cardiff Law School. Gathoni has been in the media industry for over a decade and has vast experience.
She has previously worked in many media stations. she premiered the first investigative series, the inside Story, when she was working in KTN. In addition, she has contributed to the growth of many foundations. Julie Gichuru currently works in KBC after quitting the Royal Media services.
Apart from her presenting job, she also did a bit of acting in her early years and was part of a lifestyle magazine. Samira participates in leadership forums and empowers many with her campaigns for good cause.
Julie is married to Anthony Gichuru who is a businessman. they were blessed with five kids before the unfortunate passing on of one of their kids. David Arthur Mwaura passed away and this broke down the family but they got through it.
