Eliud Kipchoge has risen to become one of the most hailed athletes not only in Kenya but all over the world. He broke the record by becoming the first human to run in a marathon in under two hours. This was at an event held in Vienna, Austria. His talent has seen him bag both local and international deals which are very lucrative.
Even though Kipchoge likes to keep a low profile about his wealth, he is undoubtedly one of the richest people in the country and a humble one at that.
Kipchoge is married to a beautiful lady called Grace Sugutt. She is also very reserved but very proud of her husband.
In a past interview, Grace revealed that she fell in love with Eliud Kipchoge when she was just 19 years. They were schoolmates and also neighbors. Her brother was also a good friend to Eliud. They dated and after a year, the two tied the knot in a traditional ceremony.
Grace spends most of her time taking care of the family’s commercial interests. Apart from investments in real estate, Grace is also a renowned farmer. She deals in maize, dairy farming and poultry. She also does charity work and helps the needy who come to their home almost daily.
Their house which is located in the upmarket Elgon view is very simple and modest yet beautiful. It is located a short distance from one of the training sites making it convenient.
The couple is blessed with 3 children, Lynne, Griffin and Gordon. The family is indeed very beautiful and blessed.
